ROAST’D Coffee Co.
ROAST’D is a fictional medium-sized coffee company based in Portland, Oregon. Founded by college roommates and coffee aficionados Grace and Daria after years of working in the food industry, ROAST’D is quality coffee for everyone without being pretentious. The product line includes whole roasted beans, ground coffee, and Keurig K-cups. Roast’d coffee is fair trade certified, uses natural spices for flavor, and is sustainably sourced to replace water and carbon used in the production process. This quality coffee is offered at an affordable price compared to other organic coffee brands, paying workers well without compromising the needs of the consumer.
I started by sketching fun typography and lockups with coffee and punk/alternative imagery. I illustrated a funky scene inspired girl for the coffee’s cover, creating her color palette in tandem with the packaging. Elements of the logo are repeated throughout the design.
